Insolvency and restructuring (WCO)

Overdue invoices require prompt collection. That much is simple, but in most cases it doesn't stop there. Things become trickier when invoices are paid late, or sometimes even not at all. What should you do if your debtor lapses into bankruptcy?

What steps do you take if your invoices haven’t been paid and it looks like the debtor is facing imminent bankruptcy?

Your own business could also end up struggling with financial problems. What should you do when you are (temporarily) unable to pay your debts? We work with you to try and overcome financial difficulties and, to the extent possible, save the company and avoid bankruptcy. The ideal person to help you out of this sort of situation is your lawyer, which is why Agio has several lawyers on board with extensive experience in this area in their capacity as official receivers.

We have a special expertise in:

  • Bankruptcy law
  • Provision of counsel during LCE (Law on the Continuity of Enterprises) proceedings
  • Debt collection issues
  • Restructuring measures to improve the profitability of your business
  • Sell-off
  • Distressed M&A
  • etc.

What do you expect of your law firm? Fair solutions, clear answers and an honest prognosis. Right? You can rest assured that that’s exactly what we expect too.
